प्रदेश नं १ मा चैत २० गतेदेखि हात्ती पाइले रोगविरुद्धको औषधि खुवाइँदैछ । लगभग ४५ लाख ३४ हजार ९४३ जनसङ्ख्या रहेको यस प्रदेशमा औषधि खुवाउनका लागि पाँच हजार स्वास्थ्यकर्मी परिचालन हुने र यस सम्बन्धी सम्पूर्ण तयारी पूरा भइसकेको जन स्वास्थ्य कार्यालय प्रदेश नं १ विराटनगरले जनाएको छ ।
कार्यालय प्रमुख डा सुरेश मेहताका अनुसार दुई वर्षभन्दा कम र ७० वर्षभन्दा बढी उमेर समूहका व्यक्ति, गर्भवती र गम्भीर बिरामीबाहेकका व्यक्तिले ढुक्कसँग औषधि सेवन गर्न सक्ने छ । स्थानीय तहले सम्पूर्ण घरमा पुग्नका लागि आवश्यकताअनुसार योजना बनाएर समय निर्धारण गर्न सक्ने उहाँले बताउनुभयो ।
राष्ट्रिय हात्ती पाइले रोग निवारण कार्यक्रम ‘आम औषधि सेवन अभियान–२०७७’ को विषयमा आज सञ्चारकर्मीहरुसँगको अन्तरक्रिया कार्यक्रममा उहाँले लामुखट्टेको टोकाइबाट मानिसको शरीरमा उत्पन्न हुने तीन प्रजातिका मसिनो धागो जस्तै परजीवीको आयु २० वर्ष रहने र यसकै कारणले मानिसलाई हात्ती पाइले रोग लाग्ने जानकारी दिनुभयो । शरीरलाई कुरुप तथा अपाङ्गसमेत बनाउने यो परजीवीलाई हटाउन सबैले हात्ती पाइले रोगविरुद्धको चक्की खानुपर्ने डा मेहताले सुझाव दिनुभयो ।
शरीरका हात, खुट्टामा देखिने यो रोग तराईका जिल्लाहरुमा १३ प्रतिशत देखिएको अनुसन्धानले देखाएको बताइएको छ । हात्ती पाइले विरुद्धको औषधि खुवाउने यो नवौँ पटक हो भने यो चक्की खाली पेटमा खान नहुने डा मेहताले जानकारी दिनुभयो ।
दुई वर्षदेखि पाँच वर्षकाले एक चक्की, छ देखि १४ वर्षकाले दुई चक्की तथा १५ वर्ष माथिकाले तीन चक्की खानुपर्ने हुन्छ । औषधि सेवनपछि रोगको सङ्क्रमण भएका व्यक्तिमा सामान्य असर देखिने भन्दै उहाँले निर्धक्कसँग औषधि सेवन गर्न सबैमा अनुरोध गर्नुभयो ।
यो रोगको सङ्क्रमण भएका व्यक्तिमा औषधि खाँदा सामान्य वाकवाकी लाग्ने, टाउको दुःखने र रिङ्गटा लाग्ने लक्षण देखिने स्वास्थ्य कार्यालयका प्रवक्ता धरनी निरौलाले जानकारी दिनुभयो ।
उहाँले मोरङको जहदा र दादबैरियमा रोगको सङ्क्रमण उच्च देखिएको जानकारी दिँदै नेपालमा ११ करोडभन्दा बढी मात्रा औषधि सेवन गराइसकेको जानकारी दिनुभयो । मुलुकको ६३ जिल्ला हात्ती पाइले रोगको जोखिममा रहेको अनुसन्धानबाट देखाइएको छ । शरीरको कुनै पनि भागमा मासु जस्तो डल्लो देखिनु, हाइड्रोसिल हुनु, गलगाँड हुनु, हातखुट्टा सुनिएर हात्तीको खुट्टा जस्तो देखिनु नै हात्ती पाइले रोग हो भनिएको छ ।
