भद्रपुर २०,जेठ /भद्रपुर नगरपालिकाको कार्य पालिका सदस्यमा नेकपा.एमालेका सदस्यहरू निर्वाचित भएका छन्। मुख्य निर्वाचन अधिकृतको कार्यालयमा हिजो भएको कार्यपालिका सदस्य निर्वाचनमा एमालेबाट उम्मेदवारी दिएका ८ जनानै निर्वाचित भएका हुन्।
निर्वाचित हुने महिला सदस्यहरूमा सन्ध्याकुमारी डङ्गोल-हाडा, कमला अछामी, ममता लिम्बू, सीताकुमारी गुरुङ र सीतादेबी ढकाल हुनुहुन्छ। त्यस्तै, दलित अल्पसंख्यकबाट कहरसिह राजवशी,विवेक राजवंशी र प्रशंसा ठटाल हुनुहुन्छ।
भद्रपुर नगरपालिकाका ५२ जना मध्ये एमाले उम्मेदवार प्रायः सवैले ३७/३७ मत ल्याएका थिए भने विवेक राजवंशीले ३८ मत प्राप्त गर्नुभएको थियो। नगर पालिकामा एमालेबाट २९ जना निर्वाचित छन्। २९ जनामा राष्ट्रिय प्रजातन्त्र पार्टी राप्रपाको ८ मत थपिएर ३७ मत आएको हो।
कार्य पालिका सदस्यको निर्वाचनमा एमाले र राप्रपाले तालमेल गरेका थिए। राप्रपाका तर्फबाट कुनै उम्मेद्वारी नदिई एमालेलाई सहयोग गरेको चुनावी नतिजाले देखाएको छ।
नेपाली कांग्रेस संख्यात्मक हिसाबले कम हुँदा हुँदै पनि उसले सवै पदमा उम्मेदवारी दिएको थियो।
कार्यपालिकाको निर्वाचन भएसंगै भद्रपुर नगरपालिकाको २० सदस्यीय कार्यपालिका (बोर्ड) गठन पूर्ण भएको छ। कार्यपालिकामा एमालेका-११,काँग्रेस-पाँच,राप्रपा.-तीन र नेकपा माओवादीका एक जना छन् भने परिषद सदस्य ६०जनामा ३७ जना सदस्य लिएर एमाले वहुमतमा छ।
