भद्रपुर ०३,फागुन /भैरहवामा निर्माणाधीन गौतमबुद्ध अन्तर्राष्ट्रिय विमानस्थलमा फागुन ६ गतेदेखि १५ गतेसम्म यान्त्रिक परीक्षण उडान (क्यालिब्रेसन फ्लाईट) हुने भएको छ । राष्ट्रिय गौरबको आयोजनाका रुपमा रहेको उक्त विमानस्थलमा १० दिनसम्म सो उडान सञ्चालन हुन लागेको हो ।प्राधिकरणले आज सार्वजनिक सूचना प्रकाशित गरी ‘क्यालिब्रेसन फ्लाइट’हुन लागेको जानकारी दिएको हो।यो उडानको जिम्मेवारी एरोनटिकल रेडियो अफ थाइल्याण्ड (एरो थाई) ले पाएको छ। एरो थाइको जहाज फागुन ५ गते काठमाडौंस्थित त्रिभुवन अन्तर्राष्ट्रिय विमानस्थलमा अवतरण गर्नेछ। काठमाडौँबाट भैरहवाका लागि उडान गर्ने जनाइएको छ। गौतमबुद्ध विमानस्थलको भौतिक निर्माण तथा उपकरण जडानसम्बन्धी कार्य सम्पन्न भइसकेको छ। परीक्षण उडान पश्चात यो विमानस्थलमा व्यवसायिक उडान गर्ने तयारी गरिएको छ । यो उडानपछि भैरहवा विमानस्थल अन्य साधारण प्रकृतिको उडानका लागि योग्य र सुरक्षित भए/नभएको प्रमाणित हुनेछ ।

क्यालिब्रेसन उडानपछि भैरहवा अन्तर्राष्ट्रिय विमानस्थलमा नेपाल एयरलाइन्सको जहाजबाट परीक्षण उडान गर्ने तयारी छ । त्यसपछि भने अन्य व्यवस्थापनको काम पूरा गरी व्यवसायिक उडानका लागि वायुसेवा कम्पनीलाई आह्वान गर्न सकिने छ ।

यती एयरलाइन्सको भगिनी संस्था तारा एयरले इलामको फाल्गुनन्द सुकिलुम्बा विमानस्थलमा फागुन ११ गतेदेखि साताको दुई उडान भर्ने भएको छ । निर्माण प्रक्रिया थालेको बीस वर्षपछि सुकिलुम्बा विमानस्थलमा साताको आइतबार र बिहीबार काठमाडौँदेखि उडान भर्न लागेको तारा एअरका प्रवक्ता एवम् हवाई सुरक्षा प्रमुख सुदर्शन बर्तौलाले जानकारी दिए ।
धावनमार्ग कालोपत्रे भई परीक्षण सम्पन्न भएसँगै नेपाल पर्यटन बोर्ड, इलाम नगरपालिका तथा तारा एअरको संयूक्त पहलमा उक्त विमानस्थलमा साताको दुई नियमित उडान हुन लागेको हो ।
विमानस्थलको धावनमार्ग कालोपत्रे हुनुअघि पनि २०७५ जेठ २१ गते तारा एयरको ट्विनेटर जहाजले परीक्षण उडान गरेको थियो । फागुन ११ देखि काठमाडौंबाट बिहान ११ बजे र इलामबाट दिउँसो १२:३० बजे उडान गर्ने तालिका रहेको प्रवक्ता बर्तौलाले बताउनुभयो । काठमाडौंदेखि इलामसम्मको उडान अवधि करिब एक घण्टाको हुनेछ । हवाई यात्राको लागि हाल एकतर्फी भाडा नौ हजार रुपैयाँ कायम गरिएको छ ।
इलाममा सन्दकपुर, माइपोखरी, कन्याम–अन्तुसर्किट, छिन्टापु, सानो पाथीभरा, सिद्धिथुम्का, माङ्मालुङ, माङ्सेबुङ, गजुरमुखी, रेड पाण्डा पाइने वन, पशुपतिनगर लगायतका पर्यटकीय आकर्षणका केन्द्र हुन् । फाल्गुनन्द सुकिलुम्बा विमानस्थलबाट नियमित उडान हुँदा इलाम, पाँचथरसहित भारतको दार्जिलिङ, सिक्किम लगायत क्षेत्रका स्थानीयलाई हवाई यात्राको लागि सहज हुनेछ ।
