साफ च्याम्पियनसिप फुटबल इतिहासमा नेपाल पहिलो पटक फाइनलमा

ऐमाले — नेपालले साफ च्याम्पियनसिपको इतिहासमा पहिलो पल्ट फाइनल यात्रा तय गर्न सफल भएको छ । नेपाललाई फाइनल पुग्न एक अंक चाहिएकोमा बंगलादेशलाई राउन्ड रोबिनको आफ्नो अन्तिम खेलमा १–१ को बराबरीमा रोके पछि १ अंक थप्दै फाइनल यात्रा तय गरेको हो।
सन् १९९३ देखि सुरु भएको प्रतियोगितामा नेपालले फाइनल पुगेको यो पहिलो पल्ट हो ।बुधबार भएको खेलको ७९ औं मिनेटमा आफ्नो पेनाल्टी एरिया बाहिर बल ह्यान्ड गरेपछि बंगलादेशी गोलरक्षक अनिसुर रहमानलाई सिधै रातो कार्ड देखाइएको थियो र खेल नेपालको पक्षमा मोडिएको थियो ।
८८औं मिनेटमा पाएको पेनाल्टीलाई सदुपयोग गर्दै नेपालका लागि अन्जन विष्टले निर्णायक गोल गरेका थिए । यसअघि खेलको ९औं मिनेटमा बंगलादेशले मोहम्मद सुमन रेजाको गोलले अग्रता लिएको थियो ।
यो नतिजापछि नेपालको चार खेलबाट सात अंक भएको छ ।बंगलादेश भने चार अंकमै सीमित रह्यो र प्रतियोगिताबाट बाहिरियो । जित अथवा बराबरीमा फाइनल पुग्ने समीकरणमा रहेको नेपालले यो बराबरी नतिजा निकालेको हो ।
नेपालले माल्दिभ्स र श्रीलंकालाई हराए पनि भारतविरुद्धको खेल गुमाएको थियो । फाइनलमा नेपालको प्रतिद्वन्द्वी बुधबारकै दोस्रो खेलले निर्धारण गर्नेछ ।दोस्रो खेल आयोजक तथा डिफेन्डिङ च्याम्पियन माल्दिभ्स र भारत वीच हुँदैछ ।
