काठमाडौं ५,फागुन /सरकारले नेपाल प्रहरीमा तीनजना एआईजीको दरबन्दी थप गर्ने निर्णय गरेको छ। बिहीबार बसेको मन्त्रिपरिषद्को बैठकले दरबन्दी थप्ने निर्णय गरेको एक मन्त्रीले जानकारी दिए। यससँगै नेपाल प्रहरीमा एआईजीको दरबन्दी संख्या ८ पुगेको छ।
दरबन्दी थपका लागि संगठन व्यवस्थापन सर्वेक्षण (ओएन्डएम) गरेर गृह मन्त्रालयमा पठाएको थियो। गृहमन्त्रालयले अघिल्लो सोमबार नै एआईजी थपको प्रस्ताव मन्त्री परिषदमा पेश गरेको भए पनि निर्णय भने भएको थिएन। थपिएको दरबन्दी मानव श्रोत एवम् प्रशासन विभागलाई अलग गरेर एउटा, केन्द्रीय अनुसन्धान ब्युरोमा र प्रदेश समन्वय विभागमा रहनेछन्।
एआईजीका लागि डीआईजीहरू ईश्वरबाबु कार्की र वसन्त पन्तसहित पछिल्लो ब्याची धीरजप्रताप सिंह, उत्तमराज सुवेदी, वसन्त लामा र रवीन्द्र धानुक मुख्य प्रतिस्पर्धी हुन्। नेपाल धितोपत्र बोर्डको अध्यक्षमा रमेश हमाल नियुक्त भएका छन्। आज बसेको मन्त्रिपरिषद् बैठकले हमाललाई बोर्ड अध्यक्षमा नियुक्त गरेको हो।
यसअघि बोर्डको अध्यक्ष नियुक्तिका लागि गठित योजना आयोगका उपाध्यक्ष विश्व नाथ पौडेलको संयोजकत्वमा रहेको सिफारिस तथा छनोट समितिले कृष्णराज पोखरेल, डा गोपाल भट्ट र रमेश हमालको नाम छनौट गरेको थियो। समितिले छनौट गरेका तीन जनालाई अर्थमन्त्री जनार्दन शर्माले मन्त्रिपरिषदमा सिफारिस गरेका थिए। सिफारिस गरिएको ३ जनामध्ये मन्त्रिपरिषद्ले बोर्डको अध्यक्षमा हमाललाई नियुक्त गरेको हो। अध्यक्षका लागि १५ जनाको आवेदन परेका थियो।
