मानिस जन्मिन्छ, मर्छ – त्यो ईश्वरीय भनौ या प्रकृतिको नियम हो। तर, जो मान्छे मरेर पनि कालान्तरसम्म धेरैको प्रिय बन्छ त्यो उसको जीवनकर्मको फल हो। मृत्यु पछि परिवारले श्राद्ध गर्ने ओ हाम्रो धार्मिक नियम हो तर, परिवारजनले मात्र होइन समाज र समुदायले सम्झिइरहन्छ भने उसको जीवन धन्य भएको ठानिन्छ। मानिसले आफ्नो जीवनकालमा गरेका असल कर्मले नै ऊ स्मरणीय अर्थात् दस्तावेजमा उल्लेख लायक हुन्छ। प्रशुराम अग्रवाल – यस्तै एउटा उल्लेख लायक व्यक्तित्व हुन् भन्ने मलाई लाग्छ – जसलाई केही पुस्ताले निश्चय पनि सम्झने छन् ।
प्रशुरामजीलाई धेरै मान्छेले अनेक हिसाबले बुझ्न सक्छन्,उनको बहुमुखी क्षमताको खुवी पनि यही हो। उनको निधन पछि प्रकट गरिएका समवेदनारूपी स्टाटसहरूमा प्रयुक्त शब्दालंकारहरूले पनि प्रशुरामको वहुमुखी व्यक्तित्वको उजागर भएको छ।
वास्तवमै प्रशुरामजी विविध क्षमतायुक्त व्यक्तित्वको पुञ्ज हो। यद्यपि कोही पनि मान्छे सर्वगुण सम्पन्न त हुँदैन। भगवानलाई त दोषारोपण गर्न सकिन्छ भने मान्छेले मान्छेलाई के बाँकी राख्थे र! त्यो पनि एकले अर्कोलाई पाएसम्म स्यालले कुखुरालाई लखेटे जस्तो लखेट्ने जमाना – कालखण्डका हामीले भोगेको यो अर्काको खुट्टा तानेर मात्र आफू माथि पुगिन्छ भन्ने कुत्सित मनसाय बोकेका मानिसको बाहुल्य भएको समाजमा।त्यस्तै, मान्छेहरूको भीडमा अलिक भिन्न सोच र व्यवहार-कुशल व्यक्ति हुन् – प्रशुराम। तसर्थ पनि राम्रो गर्छु भन्दा भन्दै धेरै पटक बेतुकको लखेटाइमा परेका घटना छन् – उनका पनि। आफूले गरेका र गर्न खोजेका कामलाई गलत बुझिदिने र अनेक व्यर्थ अर्थ लगाएर बाधा अड्चन पुर्‍याएका तीतो घटनाले निराश बनेका प्रसंगहरू बेला बेलाको अन्तरंग कुराकानीमा प्रकट भएका छन् – प्रशुरामजीबाट।
मान्छेले आर्थिक उपार्जनका लागि विभिन्न उद्यम त गर्छ नै। उद्यम विहीन बस्ने चरित्र प्रशुरामको पनि होइन। उसले गरेको उद्यमसंगै सवै खाले मान्छेलाई अलग अलग ढंगले ससम्मान उपयोग गर्ने क्षमता उनको विशिष्ट गुण हो। आम मान्छेले आर्थिक उपार्जन गर्ने कोशीश गर्छ, सम्पत्ति जोड्छ – कमाउँछ। आफ्ना लागि, परिवारका लागि, समाजमा प्रभाव देखाउनका लागि तर, प्रशुराममा आफू र आफूसंगै हिंडेका साथी संगीलाई उकास्नु र आर्जनबाट समाज परिवर्तनमा सकेसम्म योगदान गर्ने अलिक फरक स्वभाव थियो। त्यसका थुप्रै उदाहरणहरू छन्। उसंग संगत गरेका, जोडिएका धेरै मानिसलाई उस्ले उकासेको छ। परिवारका धेरै मान्छेको संकटमा उ सतिसालझैँ उभिएको छ। उ परिवारको मियो हो।कुखुरीले चल्ला छोपेझैँ उसले परिवारलाई अभिभावकत्व प्रदान गरेको त थियो नै। तर परिवारका लागि मात्र होइन समुदायकै रानो बनेर भुमिका निर्वाह गरेका घटना पनि धेरै छन्। धार्मिक र सामाजिक क्रियाकलापमा उदार मनका साथ सहयोग गर्ने र आश गरेर पुग्ने जो कोही पनि शायदै खाली हात फर्कनुपरेको छ- प्रशुरामबाट।
सार्वजनिकरूपमा गरिने सामाजिक – धार्मिक क्रियाकलापमा मात्र होइन आर्थिक अभावले रोकिन सक्ने विवाह, मरिमराउमा पनि सहारा बनेका अनेक घटना छन्। मठ-मन्दिर, गुम्बा, मस्जिद, स्कूल, अस्पताल, सत्तल-पार्टी, जेष्ठ नागरिक भवनको भौतिक संरचना निर्माण र मर्मत सम्भार होस् वा तिनको नियमित संचालन परिचालनमा उनको सहयोग उल्लेख्य छ। देखिने आर्थिक र भौतिक सहयोग वाहेक पनि अन्य विविध समस्यामा प्रशुराम कहाँ पुगेपछि एउटा निकास लिएर मानिस फर्किन्थ्यो। तसर्थ उ समाजका लागि पथ प्रदर्शक, योजनाकार, कुशल संयोजक र सकारात्मक सोच भएको असल मानव थियो।
भद्रपुरको विकासमा उसको उल्लेखनीय योगदान छ। उ विकास प्रेमी हो। भाषणमा होइन काममा विश्वास गर्ने भौतिक निर्माणका लागि उ विश्वकर्मा हो। ऊ आफै इन्जिनियर हो, आफै ओभरसियर र कर्मवीर योध्दा हो। योजना र निर्माण उस्को प्राथमिकताको क्षेत्र हो। यस क्षेत्रमा समाज सेवाको लागि ऊ उदारमनाको पर्याय नै थियो । त्यसैले ऊ कर्मशील दानवीर हो।दुःखित पीडित र समस्यामा परेकाहरूको वोझ बोक्न हरदम तयार रहने प्रशुरामजीको व्यवहारबाट वेला वेलामा परिवार समेत दिक्क मान्थे। ऊ सहयोगी थियो परिवार त्यसलाई अनावश्यक ठान्थ्यो। धार्मिक सामाजिक कामका लागि उनलाई सम्झेर पुग्ने जो कोही सन्तुष्ट भएर फर्केका अनेक दृष्टान्त छन्।
उनी धर्मप्रति आस्था राख्थे र असल कर्ममा विश्वास गर्थे। ऊ कुशल संगठक, असल व्यवस्थापक र न्यायिक क्षमतावान व्यक्ति पनि हो। यही खुवीले भद्रपुरमा समाज सेवा ट्रष्ट बनायो र मोहपाल धर्मशालालाई परिमार्जित गर्यो। जीर्ण भद्रपुर गौशालाको जीर्णोद्धार गर्यो। वाणिज्य संघको भवन बनायो। मेची अञ्चल अस्पतालमा २५औं लाख लगानी गरेर मर्मत सम्भार गरायो । मेची खोलामा बाँसे पुलको अवधारणासंगै त्यसको आयले स्थानीय मठ मन्दिर मर्मत र परिचालन गर्ने तानावाना बुन्यो । यी र यस्ता अनेकन् योजना र विकास गरिरहँदा प्रशुराम प्रचार नचाहने मान्छे पनि हो। अनेक ठाउँमा उसले गुप्त दान गरेको छ। मञ्च र सम्मानबाट उ टाढा भाग्थ्यो।
धेरै नपढे पनि धेरै कुरामा व्यवहारप्रदत्त विज्ञता, पारंगत , व्यावहारिक ज्ञान भएको , मृदुभाषी, रिस नउठ्ने स्वभावको प्रशुरामको निधनले झापाली समाज र समुदायलाई अपुरणीय क्षति भएको छ। समाज समुदायले एउटा असल नागरिक गुमाएको छ। उनको निधनसँगै धेरै आश्रितहरूको मन मुर्झाएको छ, अनेकको सहारा गुमेको छ र उनको अवसानसंगै धेरै आशा, भरोसा र सम्भावनाहरूको अवसान भएको छ।
