रक्तदान जीवन दान

कोरोना महामारी, खोप कार्यक्रम र संक्रमण त्रासकै कारण अझै पनि नियमित रक्तदानका कार्यक्रम हुन सकेको छैन । फलतः रगतको अभावमा थुप्रै विरामीहरु भौतारिरहनु परिरहेको छ भने रक्तसञ्चार सेवा केन्द्रहरुले रक्तदानका लागि आव्हान गरिरहेका छन् । विरामीका लागि अति–आवश्यक रगतको विकल्प अझसम्म छैन । रगतको विकल्प रक्तदान मात्र रहेको छ । रक्तअल्पता, दुर्घटनाका घाइते, डाइलाइसिसका विरामी, सुत्केरी अवस्था अन्य गम्भीर रोगका विरामीहरुलाई रगतको आवश्यकता पर्ने गर्दछ । त्यस्ता गम्भीर विरामीहरुका ज्यान बचाउनका लागि रगतको सर्वाधिक आवश्यकता पर्दछ । त्यसैले हाम्रो समाजमा “रक्तदान” लाई “जीवनदान” को रुपमा लिइने गर्दछ ।

इलाम जिल्ला, रोङ गाउँपालिका ६, जिर्मले निवासी वर्ष १५ की सचिना राई रक्तअल्पता भई विगत ४ वर्षदेखि नियमित रुपमा रगत लिई राख्नु भएको छ । डाक्टरका अनुसार बोनम्यारो ट्रान्सप्लान्ट वा नियमित रगत चढाउनु बाहेक उनीसंग अरु विकल्प छैन ।

बिर्तामोड निवासी आरके गणेश विगत ३ वर्षदेखि नियमित डाइलाइसिस गराइराख्नु भएको छ । यस्तोमा उहाँलाई महिनाको ४ देखि ६ पिन्टसम्म रगत चढाउनु पर्छ । सचिना राई र आरके गणेश प्रतिनिधि पात्र मात्र हुन् ।

नेपाल रेडक्रस सोसाइटी रक्तसञ्चार झापाका इन्चार्ज शिशिर दाहालका अनुसार बार्षिक रुपमा झापामा करिब १५ हजार पिन्ट रगतको आवश्यकता रहेको र त्यो दर वर्षेनी बढ्दो क्रममा रहेको छ । उहाँका अनुसार कोभिड महामारी, खोप कार्यक्रम लगायतका कारण माग अधिक र रक्तदान कार्यक्रमहरु कम हुँदा रगतको चरम अभाव छ । यस्तोमा रगतको मागलाई पूर्ति गर्न रक्तदान मात्र एक विकल्प रहेको छ ।

· कस्तो अवस्थामा रक्तदान गर्न सकिन्छ ?

१८ वर्ष प्रवेश गरेका स्वस्थ व्यक्ति रक्तदानका लागि योग्य (सक्षम) मानिन्छन् । रक्तदान गर्नका लागि हेमोग्लोविन १२.५ ग्राम वा सो भन्दा माथि तथा व्लड प्रेसर ११०/१७० – १६०/९५ मि.मि. भएको जो कोही मानिसले रक्तदान गर्न सक्दछ । रगत बनाउने प्रणाली हाम्रो शरीरमा हरेक ९०–९० दिनमा हुने हुँदा खेर जाने, नष्ट हुने सेल (रगत) लाई हरेक ३–३ महिनाको अन्तरालमा रक्तदान गर्न सकिन्छ । कोरोनाको वर्तमान परीक्षणमा कोभिड पोजेटिभ भई निको भएको ४ हप्तापछि र खोप लगाएको १५ दिनपछि रक्तदान गर्न सकिन्छ । रक्तदान पञ्चात् विभिन्न परीक्षणहरु गरिने हुँदा रक्तदान परोपकारी मात्र नभएर स्वयं रक्तदाताको स्वास्थ्य परीक्षण पनि हुने गर्दछ ।

· कस्तो अवस्थामा रक्तदान गर्नु हुँदैन ?

उच्च रक्तचाप, मधुमेह, क्षयरोग, मुटु तथा मिर्गाैला रोगी, एच.आइ.भी संक्रमित, विभिन्न खाले औषधि सेवन गरिरहेकाहरुले रक्तदान गर्नु हुँदैन । साथै ट्याटु खोपेको ६ महिनासम्म र महिनावारी भएको १ हप्तासम्म रक्तदान गर्नु हुँदैन ।

कोभिडको समयमा कसरी रक्तदान गर्ने ?

कोभिडको संक्रमण अहिले पनि समुदाय स्तरमै रहेको हुँदा स्वयं रक्तदाता, कार्यक्रम आयोजक, प्राबिधिकहरु समेत सचेत एवं सजग हुनुपर्दछ । कोरोना संक्रमणबाट बच्नको लागि स्वास्थ्य मापदण्डका उपायहरु जस्तै भौतिक दुरी कायम गर्ने,मास्कको उचित प्रयोग संगै हातलाई सेनिटाईज गर्ने वा साबुनपानीले हात धुने गर्नुपर्दछ। सानो लापरबाहीले कोरोनाको संक्रमण हुने हुँदा भिडभाड नगरी , समयतालिका बनाई रक्तदाताहरुलाई सोही बमोजिम आव्हान गर्नुपर्दछ ।रक्तदान स्थल सकभर भिडभाड क्षेत्रमा नभएर निश्चित क्षेत्रहरुमा वा ठूला हलहरुमा जहाँ पर्याप्त मात्रामा हावा चल्ने स्थान छनौट गर्नुपर्दछ । रक्तदान स्थलहरुमा मास्क, सेनिटाईजरको अतिरिक्त व्यवस्था गर्नुको साथै थोरै संख्यामा स्वयंसेवकहरु परिचालन गर्नुपर्दछ ।।

रक्तदान पछि के पाइन्छ ?

रक्तदान आफैमा एक परोपकारी, मानवीय सेवा हो । रक्तदान गरी जीवन वचाउने अभियानमा सामेल हुन सकिन्छ, अतः “रक्तदान” आत्मसन्तुष्टि पनि हो । रक्तदान पश्चात प्रत्यक्ष रुपमा केही नपाइएता पनि आफ्ना स्वास्थ्य परीक्षणहरु (एच.आइ.भी. एड्स, हेपाहाटाइटिस, व्लड ग्रुप, रक्तचाप) निःशुल्क प्राप्त गर्न सकिन्छ । विभिन्न संघ संस्थामा आवध्दता एवम् सामाजिक कार्यहरुमा राम्रो प्लेटफर्म पनि प्राप्त गर्न सकिन्छ । मुख्य कुरो “रक्तदान–जीवनदान” जस्तो महा अभियानमा सक्रिय हुन पाइन्छ जुन जीवनको सर्वोत्म कार्य मध्येमा पर्दछ ।
