कोशी पर्यटन वर्षको अवसरमा प्रदेश सरकारको आर्थिक सहयोगमा पर्यटन क्षेत्रको विकास र प्रवर्द्धन गर्ने उद्धेश्यले कोशी पाथीभरा इन्डो–नेपाल टी २० क्रिकेट च्याम्पियनसिप गर्न लागिएको हो । भद्रपुर क्रिकेट क्लबको आयोजनामा मेची क्याम्पसमा रहेको क्रिकेट मैदानमा हुने प्रतियोगिता लिग ढाँचामा हुनेछ।
माघ २१ गतेदेखि २९ गतेसम्म सञ्चालन हुने प्रतियोगितामा नेपालका चार वटा र भारतका चार वटा गरी आठ वटा क्रिकेट टिमको सहभागिता रहने छ । प्रतियोगिता सम्पन्न गर्न विभिन्न उपसमितिहरू गठन गरी तत् तत् समितिलाई जिम्मेवारी दिएर काम अगाडि बढाइएको आयोजकले जनाएका छन्।
मूल आयोजक समितिका संयोजक तथा भद्रपुर ८ का वडाध्यक्ष गौरव सुब्बा मनोजका अनुसार, प्रतियोगितामा नेपालका तर्फबाट आयोजक भद्रपुर क्रिकेट क्लब, गण्डकी हिरोज पोखरा , ग्रेट हिमालयन क्रिकेट एकेडेमी काठमाडौँ र फ्रेन्ड्स युथ क्लब डडेलधुरा रहेका छन् ।
त्यस्तै भारतको तर्फबाट राइनोल्यान्ड क्रिकेट एकेडेमी आसाम गुवाहाटी, ग्लोबल स्टार क्रिकेट क्लब लखनऊ, क्रिकेट कोचिङ उपाध्याय एकेडेमी न्यु दिल्ली र स्नो लायन टिम अफ सिक्किम रहेका छन् । नेपालका क्लबहरूमा एनपीएल खेलिसकेका खेलाडीहरू र भारतका क्लबहरूमा रञ्जित ट्रफी खेलिरहेका खेलाडीहरूको सहभागिता रहने समेत संयोजक सुब्बाले जानकारी दिनु भएको छ।
