स्वास्थ्य राज्यमन्त्री उमेश श्रेष्ठले सवा ५ करोड डोज कोरोना खोप नेपाल भित्रने अवस्थामा रहेको बताएका छन् । मन्त्री श्रेष्ठले अनुदान सहयोग, कोभ्याक्स कार्यक्रम र खरिद प्रक्रिया सबै गरेर ५ करोड २३ लाख डोज खोप नेपाल भित्रने अवस्थामा रहेको बताए ।
त्यस्तै, बालबालिकालाई लक्षित गरेर फाइजर कम्पनीबाट ६० लाख डोज खोप पनि खरिद प्रक्रियामा रहेको मन्त्री श्रेष्ठले बताए । अहिलेसम्म ३ करोड २३ लाख डोज खोप खरिद प्रक्रियामा रहेको उनको भनाइ छ ।
नेपालले आगामी असोज अन्त्यसम्म दुई करोड डोज कोरोना भाइरसविरुद्धको खोप ल्याउने भएको छ । स्वास्थ्य राज्यमन्त्री श्रेष्ठले आगामी असोज महिनाको अन्त्यसम्म दुई करोड डोज खोप आपूर्ति हुने सुनिश्चित भइसकेको बताए ।
सोमबार पत्रकार सम्मेलनमा बोल्दै मन्त्री श्रेष्ठले कोभ्याक्स सुविधाअन्तर्गत १ करोड १३ लाख डोज, कोभ्याक्सको लागत सहभागितामा १ करोड ५० लाख डोज खोप ल्याउने प्रक्रियामा रहेको बताए । १ करोड ५० लाखमध्ये ४० लाख डोजका लागि भुक्तानी समेत भइसकेको र १ करोड १० लाखको भुक्तानी प्रक्रियामा रहेको उनको भनाइ छ ।
असामान्य अवस्थामा पनि खोप आपूर्ति तथा प्रभावकारी वितरणद्वारा निकट भविष्यमा महामारी नियन्त्रण गरी जनजीवनलाई सहजता र सामान्यीकरण तर्फ लैजान स्वास्थ्य तथा जनसंख्या मन्त्रालय प्रतिवद्ध रहेको उनको भनाइ छ ।
