उपमेयरमा पनि नेकपा एमालेकै उम्मेदवार नगेन्द्रप्रसाद संग्रौला निर्वाचित हुनुभएको छ। उहाँले सत्ता गठबन्धनका उम्मेदवार माओवादी केन्द्रका सीपी कडरियालाई हराउनु भएको हो । उपमेयरमा निर्वाचित संग्रौलाले १५ हजार ५ सय ८६ मत प्राप्त गर्नु भयो भने उपविजेता कडरीयाले ८ हजार ८ सय ५१ मत पाउनुभएको छ।
झापाका ३ स्थानीय तहमा मेयर पदमा महिला उम्मेदवार रहेका थिए । नेकपा एमालेले बिर्तामोडमा महतारालाई र दमकमा गीता अधिकारीलाई मेयर पदको उम्मेदवार बनाएको थियो भने कांग्रेसले अर्जुनधारा नगरपालिकामा रंजिता कार्कीलाई मेयर पदको उम्मेदवार बनाएको थियो । दमकमा गिता अधिकारी पराजित हुनुभएको छ । दमकमा सत्ता गठबन्धन दलले समर्थन गरेका राप्रपाका राम थापा निर्वाचित भएका छन् भने अर्जुनधारा नगरपालिकाको अन्तिम मत परिणाम आएको छैन ।
