भद्रपुर / क्षयरोग परीक्षण प्रयोगशालालाई कसैले पनि अपनत्व ग्रहण नगर्दा भद्रपुरमा सञ्चालित प्रयोगशालाको अवस्था दयनीय छ। नेपाल क्षयरोग निवारण संस्थाको भवन झापाको भद्रपुरमा सञ्चालित क्षयरोग परीक्षण प्रयोगशालामा भइरहेको हेलचेक्र्याईंले उपचार सेवाका लागि आउने रोगी प्रभावित भएका छन् । विगतमा जिल्ला स्वास्थ्य कार्यालयको मातहतमा सञ्चालन भएको प्रयोगशाला स्थानीय तहमा स्वास्थ्य सेवा गाभिए पछि सरोकारवालापक्ष स्वास्थ्य कार्यालय, स्थानीय तह र मेची प्रादेशिक अस्पताल कसैले पनि अपनत्व नलिंदा त्यहाँको सेवा प्रभावित भएर रोगीले अनावश्यक दुःख झेल्नु परेको छ।
२०५४ सालदेखि निरन्तर सञ्चालनमा रहेको उक्त प्रयोगशालाबाट क्षयरोगका लक्षण भएका रोगीहरूको माइक्रोस्कोपिक र जेनस्पट पध्दतिबाट परीक्षण गर्न विगतमा तीन जना प्राविधिक र एक जना सहयोगी कर्मचारी परिचालन गरिएको थियो। प्रयोगशालामा क्षयरोगका अतिरिक्त मलेरिया, कालाज्वर,डेङ्गु, कुष्ठ रोगको समेत परीक्षण हुने गर्थ्यो।
गत आर्थिक वर्ष२०७८/०७९ मा सो परीक्षण केन्द्रमा माइक्रोस्कोपिक पध्दतिबाट गरिएको ४७५ महिला र ८१२ पुरूषमध्ये २१ महिला र ६३ जना पुरुष तथा जेनस्पट पध्दतिबाट ९४१ महिला र १,४९३ पुरूषमध्ये ८२ महिला र १९१ पुरुष क्षयरोगी पाइएको तथ्याङ्क छ। अर्थात् गत एक वर्षमा ३,७२१ जनाको परीक्षण गर्दा ३५७ जना क्षयरोगी पहिचान भएको अभिलेख छ। सो केन्द्रले ३,८८६ जना अन्य रोगीको परीक्षण पनि गरेको तथ्याङ्क छ।
विश्व स्वास्थ्य सङ्गठनको प्रतिवेदन अनुसार नेपालमा मानिसको मृत्यु हुने कारणमा छैटौँ स्थानमा क्षयरोग पर्दछ। नेपालमा वर्षेनी ४५ हजार र दैनिक १२३ भन्दा बढी व्यक्तिहरूमा सङ्क्रमण हुने तथ्याङ्क छ भने मृत्यु हुने संख्या वार्षिक ६ हजार ६ सय र दैनिक १८ जना भन्दा बढी रहेको विवरण राष्ट्रिय क्षयरोग केन्द्रले सार्वजनिक गरेको छ।
‘ यस्तो ठूलो स्वास्थ्य समस्या रहेको क्षयरोगलाई गम्भीरतापूर्वक लिनुपर्नेमा जिल्ला स्वास्थ्य कार्यालयका एक फाजिल कर्मचारीबाट आंशिक सेवा उपलब्ध गराएर झारा टार्ने काम भइआएको छ। जनशक्ति अभाव र अपनत्व ग्रहण नगर्दा अस्पताल र अन्य स्वास्थ्य संस्थाबाट परीक्षणका लागि पठाइएका रोगीले प्रयोगशालाबाट दैनिक सेवा पाएका छैनन् , छोटो अवधिका लागि मात्र बस्ने फाजिलका एक प्राविधिक कर्मचारी पनि नियमित नबस्दा रोगीले पटक पटक हैरानी व्यहोर्नु परेको ‘ नेपाल क्षयरोग निवारण संस्थाका अध्यक्ष गोपालवहादुर थापा भन्नुहुन्छ-‘ नाम मात्रको सेवा जारी रहेको सो केन्द्रको पानी-विजुलीको वील भुक्तानीमा समस्या र प्रयोगशालाको नियमित सरसफाई नहुँदा भवननै दूर्गन्धित रहेको छ।’
झापा जिल्ला प्रदेश १ मै सवैभन्दा बढी डिआर टीवी (नियमित औषधि सेवन गरेर पनि निको नहुने जटिल टीवी.) भएको जिल्ला हो। डिआर टीवी सङ्क्रमित मध्ये ५०% बढी यसै जिल्लामा रहेका छन्। जिल्ला स्वास्थ्य कार्यालय झापाका क्षयरोग फोकल पर्सन वीरेन्द्र दास प्रयोगशालाको अव्यवस्था प्रति चिन्ता व्यक्त गर्दै भन्नुहुन्छ – ‘ निर्देशन भए हामी व्यवस्थापन गर्न सक्छौ तर, यसका लागि स्थानीय सरकार वा प्रदेश सरकारकै ध्यानाकर्षण हुनुपर्छ।’
प्रयोगशालाको विकल्पमा भद्रपुर नगरपालिकाले मेची प्रादेशिक अस्पतालको गाइनो भवन- जहाँबाट बालबालिकालाई खोप र क्षयरोगीलाई औषधि एकै ठाउँबाट खुवाइन्छ,जुन स्वास्थ्य सुरक्षाका दृष्टिले अत्यन्तै जोखिमपूर्ण भनेर स्वास्थ्य विज्ञहरूनै बताउँछन्।
प्रयोगशाला सञ्चालनका लागि निशुल्क कोठा उपलब्ध गराउँदै क्षयरोगीको पहिचान र औषधोपचारमा पारस्परिक सहकार्य गर्दै आएको नेपाल क्षयरोग निवारण संस्थाले स्थानीय सरकार भद्रपुर नगरपालिका, जिल्ला स्वास्थ्य कार्यालय र प्रदेश सरकारको ध्यानाकर्षण गराउँदै ज्ञापन पत्र बुझाएकोछ। उसले विभिन्न सात बुँदामा क्षयरोग नियन्त्रणका लागि विगतदेखि सञ्चालन हुँदै आएको प्रयोगशाला र प्रत्यक्ष निगरानीमा औषधि खुवाउने कार्य व्यवस्थित ढङ्गले सञ्चालनमा आउनुपर्ने मांग अघि सारेको छ।
