सञ्चार माध्यममा प्रकाशन भएका समाचारमा चित्त नबुझे न्यायका लागि विभिन्न बाटाहरु हुँदाहुँदै प्रसाईले पत्रकारलाई आक्षेप लगाउनुले सिङ्गो पत्रकारिता र पत्रकारमाथि प्रहार भएको भन्दै शुक्रबार महासंघले बिज्ञप्ति जारी गरेको हो।
बिज्ञप्तिमा भनिएको छ ‘प्रकाशित/प्रशारित समाचारप्रति चित्त नबुझे त्यस विषयमा सम्बन्धित सञ्चार माध्यममा खण्डन प्रकाशन/प्रशारण गर्ने, सम्बन्धित सञ्चार माध्यमबाट उचित सुनुवाई नभए न्यायका लागि प्रेस काउन्सिल र अदालत जान पाउने कानुनी हक हुँदाहुँदै समग्र पत्रकारिता क्षेत्रको बद्नाम हुने गरी प्रसाईले दिएको भ्रमपूर्ण अभिव्यक्ति र पत्रकारहरूलाई सार्वजनिक रूपमा धम्क्याएको घटना प्रेस तथा अभिव्यक्ति स्वतन्त्रताविरुद्ध रहेको उल्लेख छ । प्रेस तथा अभिव्यक्ति स्वतन्त्रताविरोधी प्रसाईको उक्त कार्यप्रति खेद जनाउँदै महासंघ झापा शाखाले दोषीउपर कारवाहीका लागि माग गरेको छ। साथै, विज्ञप्तिमा प्रेस स्वतन्त्रता विरोधी यस्ता हर्कत नदोहोर्याउन सम्बन्धित पक्षलाई महासंघ झापा शाखाले सचेत गराएको छ।
