भद्रपुर २९,कात्तिक / दीपावली सकिएसँगै भद्रपुरमा छटको तयारी सुरू भएको छ। छट पर्व नजिकिँदै गएपछि भद्रपुरको मेची नदीघाटलाई भद्रपुर नगरपालिका, स्थानीयवासी र क्लबहरूको सहयोगमा सरसफाई र स्थान छनौटको काम सुरू भएको छ।
प्रत्येक वर्ष छट मनाउनेहरू वृद्धि भइरहेकाले यस पर्वका लागि आवश्यक पर्ने सामानको जोहो गर्न किनमेल गर्नेको बजारमा निकै भीड देखिन थालेको छ। विगतभन्दा यस वर्ष छट पर्वमा आवश्यक सामानको मूल्य निकै वृद्धि भएको स्थानीयले बताएका छन् । यसवर्ष मङ्सिर ३ गते षष्ठीको दिन विधिपूर्वक साँझको अर्घ्य दिने भए पनि यसको मुख्य विधि तीन दिन अगावैदेखि निष्ठापूर्वक सुरु हुने गर्छ ।
देउसी भैलो गीतको रौनक लगत्तै अहिले गाउँ घरमा छठ पर्वका गीत गुन्जिन थालेको पाइन्छ। छटको पहिलो दिन बर्तालु नहायखाय गरी छट पर्व आरम्भ गर्छन्। दोस्रो दिन खरना विधि गरिन्छ। खरनालाई पापको क्षय हुने दिन पनि भनिन्छ। खरनाका दिन राति गाईको गोबरले लिपपोत गरी अरबा चामलको पिठोबाट तयार पारिएको झोलले भूमि सुशोभित गरेर बर्तालु दिनभर उपवास बस्ने गर्छन्। बेलुकीपख चन्द्र दर्शन गरिसकेपछि माटोको नयाँ चुल्हो र माटाकै नयाँ भाँडामा सख्खर, दूध र चामलको खीर पकाइन्छ। यस्तो खीर केराको पातमा राखेर छटीमातालाई चढाइन्छ र चढाइसकेपछि बर्तालुले प्रसादका रूपमा ग्रहण गर्ने गर्छन्। यसलाई परिवारका अन्य सदस्यले पनि प्रसादका रूपमा ग्रहण गर्ने चलन रहेको मैथिल समाज झापाका अध्यक्ष रमेशचन्द्र झाले बताउनुभयो । अर्काे दिन बेलुकी अस्ताउँदो सूर्यलाई अर्घ्य दिन बर्तालुले रातभरि जाग्राम बसी भोलिपल्ट बिहान उदाउँदो सूर्यलाई फेरि अर्घ्य दिएर व्रत समाप्त हुन्छ।
पारिवारिक सुख, शान्ति, रोगबाट मुक्ति तथा विभिन्न मनोकांक्षा पूरा होस् भन्ने उद्देश्यले श्रद्धापूर्वक मनाइने छट पर्वका अवसरमा मेची नदी घाटमा भीड लाग्ने गर्दछ। सूर्यको आराधनाबाट सुख, समृद्धि र सन्तान प्राप्ति एवं चर्मरोग निको हुने जनविश्वास रहेको छ।
ज्योतिषशास्त्रका आधारमा छट पर्वका समयमा ब्रम्हाण्डमा सूर्य दक्षिणायनतिर हुने भएकाले कन्या राशि समय पर्ने र यस बेलालाई सूर्यको प्रकाश प्रखर तथा प्रभावकारी र मानवका लागि फलकारी पनि मानिन्छ । छट पर्वको मुख्य प्रसादका रूपमा रहेका ठकुवा, भुसबा, केरा, फलफूल, मीठाइ, अदुवा, माटोबाट बनेको हाती, कुर्वार, दियो, घैटो, उखुलगायत बाँसबाट बनेका अन्य सामग्री रहने गर्छ।
छटका लागि भद्रपुर नगर क्षेत्रमा विशेष सुरक्षा व्यवस्था मिलाइएको छ। छटघाटमा सुरक्षाका लागि थप प्रहरी र स्वयम्सेवकहरू परिचालन गर्ने तयारी रहेको वडा प्रहरी कार्यालय भद्रपुरले जनाएको छ ।
चार दिनसम्म मनाइने यो पर्वमा व्रती महिलाले भोजनमा माछा, मासु, लसुन, प्याज, कोदो, भन्टा, मसुर आदि परित्याग गरी व्रत बस्ने गरिन्छ। सूर्य पुराणअनुसार सर्वप्रथम अत्रिमुनिका पत्नी अनसुइयाले छठ व्रत गरेपश्चात अटल शौभाग्य र इच्छा पूरा भएपछि त्यही दिनदेखि छठ पर्वको सुरुआत भएको जानकी मन्दिरका महन्त रामतपेश्वर दास बैष्णव बताउनुहुन्छ ।
