अम्विका भण्डारी—
भद्रपुर २०,साउन /विज्ञहरुले कोरोनाको तेस्रो लहर छिट्टै आउने चेतावनी दिइरहेका बेला झापाका कोभिड अस्पतालहरु सङ्क्रमितले भरिभराउ भएका छन् । मेची प्रादेशिक अस्पताल भद्रपुरमा ७५ शैय्याको कोभिड उपचार केन्द्र रहेकामा ६० जना सङ्क्रमितको उपचार भइरहेको अस्पतालका मेडिकल सुपरिन्टेन्डेन्ट डा. टङ्क बाराकोटीले बताउनुभयो ।
अस्पतालको ६० वटा शैय्यामा मात्र अक्सिजनको सुविधा उपलब्ध छ । ती सबै शैय्या भरिएका छन् । अक्सिजन ‘सपोर्ट’ चाहिने नयाँ बिरामीलाई अन्य अस्पतालमा पठाउन थालिएको छ । पाँचवटा आइसीयु कक्षमध्ये तीनवटा कोभिडका बिरामीको उपचारका लागि छुट्याइएकोमा सबै शैय्या भरिएको उहाँले जानकारी दिनुभयो ।
झापामा सबैभन्दा बढी १०० शैय्या कोभिड सङ्क्रमितको उपचारका लागि छुट्याएको विर्तामोडको बीएन्डसी अस्पतालमा ७४ जना बिरामीको उपचार भइरहेको छ । अस्पतालका जनसम्पर्क अधिकृत प्रमिस गिरीका अनुसार कोभिडका लागि अस्पतालले ३२ शैय्याको आइसीयु व्यवस्था गरेकामा सबै शैय्या बिरामीले भरिएका छन् ।
“एक सातायता कोभिडका बिरामीको चाप ह्वात्तै बढेको छ,” गिरीले भन्नुभयो, “बिरामीको चाप बढ्दै गयो भने अरू शैय्या थप्न तयार छौँ । बिरामीले उपचार नपाई फर्किने अवस्था सिर्जना हुन दिँदैनौँ ।” अस्पतालमा दैनिक २सय सिलिन्डर अक्सिजन खपत भइरहेको जनाउँदै उहाँले ५० सिलिन्डर अक्सिजन अस्पताल आफैले दैनिक उत्पादन गरिरहेको बताउनुभयो ।
पछिल्लो समय बालबालिकामा कोभिडको सङ्क्रमण जोखिम बढेको विज्ञहरुले बताएका कारण अस्पतालले २५ शैय्याको एनआइसीयु र १५ शैय्याको पीआइसीयु बच्चाहरुको कोभिड उपचारका लागि व्यवस्था गरिएको गिरीले जानकारी दिनुभयो ।
विर्तामोडस्थित पूर्णटुङ्ग बिर्तासिटी अस्पतालमा कोभिडका लागि छुट्याइएको सबै आइसोलेशन वार्ड, आइसीयु र भेन्टिलेटर भरिएको छ । अस्पतालका प्रशासन प्रमुख विनोद बस्नेतले कोभिड उपचारका लागि ५३ शैय्याको आइसोलेशन, नौ शैय्याको भेन्टिलेटर र १२ शैय्याको आइसीयु व्यवस्था गरिएको बताउनुभयो ।
“उपलब्ध सबै शैय्या, आइसीयु र भेन्टिलेटर सङ्क्रमितले भरिइसकेका छन्”, बिर्तासिटीका प्रशासन प्रमुख बस्नेतले भन्नुभयो ,- “अब आउने नयाँ बिरामीलाई पाल टाँगेर अस्पताल परिसरमा उपचार गर्नुपर्ने अवस्था आइसकेको छ ।”
एक सातायता कोभिडका सङ्क्रमित उपचारका लागि आउने क्रम बढेर अस्पताल नै भरिएको उहाँले बताउनुभयो । अस्पतालले सङ्क्रमितको उपचारलाई प्राथमिकतामा राखेर ओपीडी सेवा हाल बन्द गरेको छ । यस्तै, चाप रहे प्रसूति सेवा पनि बन्द गर्ने अवस्था आउनसक्ने उहाँको भनाइ छ।
दमकको बेलडाँगी कोभिड अस्पताल पनि सङ्क्रमितले भरिभराउ छ । दमक नगरपालिकाले सञ्चालन गरेको सो अस्पतालमा ३० शैय्या छन् । सबै शैय्या भरिभराउ रहेको स्रोत व्यक्ति देवी दङ्गालले बताउनुभयो । चिकित्सकहरुका अनुसार अचेल सिकिस्त भएपछि मात्र सङ्क्रमितहरु अस्पताल आउन थालेका छन् ।
