जीवनमा आउने बसन्तहरूसंगै हामीले धेरै विषयहरूबाट ज्ञान आर्जन गर्ने अवसरहरू प्राप्त गर्छौ। सारमा भन्ने हो भने-जीवनको पर्याय नै सिक्नु रहेछ। कति अध्यायहरू परिवार, साथीभाई, समाज, वातावरण, प्रकृति आदिले सिकाउँदो रहेछ र कति अध्यायहरू जीवनको भोगाइ र तीतामीठा अनुभवहरूबाट सिकिदों रहेछ। समग्रमा जीवन एउटा रोचक वास्तविकता रहेछ, जसलाई सिंगार्नु वा उजाड्नु आफ्नो इच्छा र क्षमतामा भर पर्ने रहेछ। जिन्दगी सधैं एकनासले चल्दैन। सधैं हाँसखेल र रमाइलो मात्र हुँदैन रहेछ जिन्दगीमा । हामी के चाहन्छौ भने – खुशी मात्र हुन पाऊँ, दुःखी हुनै नपरोस् तर, रात नपर्ने भए हामीलाई दिनको महत्त्व थाहा हुँदैन थियो होला ! कालो रातलाई चुनौति दिंदै उज्यालो अनि शीतलता छर्ने चन्द्रमाको महत्त्व पनि ज्ञात हुन्थेन होला। प्रभातका सूर्यको सुनौला किरणहरूको सुन्दर आकृति महसूस गर्न पाउँदैनथ्यौं होला।
हाँसखेल अनि आनन्द, खुशी संगसंगै जीवनमा चुनौतिहरू पनि आउँछन्। समस्या अनि चुनौति आको हामीलाई मन पर्दैन। हामीलाई पीडा भोग्न मन पर्दैन। हामी समस्याहरूलाई सधैं नकारात्मक रूपमा मात्र लिन्छौं र त्यसको औचित्य र उपादेयतालाई गौण पारिदिन्छौँ। जसको जिन्दगीमा केही चुनौति छैन, उसलाई सहज छ तर, त्यसको उपलब्धि पनि सतहमै मात्र सीमित हुन्छ। अर्थात् जति ठूलो चुनौति हुन्छ, चुनौतिको सामना गरिन्छ त्यसपछिको उपलब्धिले आत्मसन्तुष्टि अनि खुशी पनि त्यत्तिकै घतलाग्दो हुन्छ। गम्भीर मनन गर्ने हो भने-समस्याहरू हामीलाई कमजोर बनाउन भन्दा पनि हामी भित्रका कमि -कमजोरीहरूलाई सुधार्न-निखार्न आउँछन्। त्यसैले समस्यासँग भाग्ने होइन जुध्न सक्नुपर्छ। जुध्ने आँट गर्नुपर्छ। यदि भाग्यौ भने जीउनसम्म सहज हुन्छ होला, विकास हुँदैन। शून्य हुन्छ जिन्दगी,उपलब्धि विहीन।
समस्यासंग जुध्ने कोशिश गर्यौ भने पनि दुई कुरा प्राप्त हुन्छ। एउटा हार अर्को जीत। मानवीय स्वभाव हो हारले हामीमा निराशा जगाउँछ, हिनताबोध जाग्न सक्छ। म भित्र सामर्थ्य नै छैन कि भन्ने शंका पनि उत्पन्न गराउँछ। तर यदि हारलाई हामीले विस्तृत रुपमा बुझ्ने कोशिश गर्यौ भने धेरै कुरा सिक्न सक्छौँ। विगतमा, मबाट के-कस्ता गल्तीहरू भए जसको कारण म सफल हुन सकिन भन्ने कुराहरूलाई मध्यनजर गरेर हेर्ने हो भने ज्ञान आर्जन हुन्छ। भनिन्छ नि, असफलता नै सफलताको प्रस्थान विन्दु हो। तसर्थ भएका कमि कमजोरीहरूलाई सुधार्न तिर लाग्यौ भने हाम्रो जीत पक्का हुनेछ। त्यो जीतसंगै हामी भित्रको उर्जा पनि बढेर आउँछ। थप चुनौतिहरूसंग लड्ने प्रेरणा, आँट र हिम्मत जाग्छ। र, सवैभन्दा महत्वपूर्ण कुरा आत्मसन्तुष्टि प्राप्त हुन्छ। जुन खुशीको मुख्य कारण हो र जीवनको लक्ष्य पनि।
