भद्रपुर २९,असार /वैदिक संस्कृति र पूर्वीय सभ्यताको अनुसरण गर्दै भद्रपुर -६ को श्रीकृष्ण द्वैपायन गुरुकुल वेद विद्याश्रमले गुरू तथा दाताहरूलाई सम्मान गरेको छ। गुरूपूर्णिमा, वेदव्यास जयन्ती तथा भानु जयन्तीको अवसर पारेर बुधबार वेदविद्याश्रममा आयोजित एक कार्यक्रममा दाता तथा गुरुहरूलाई पुरस्कार सहित सम्मान गरिएको हो।
गुरूकुलका संस्थापक अध्यक्ष गणेशप्रसाद भट्टराई तथा दानवीर समाजसेवी दिनबन्धु गोयलद्वारा स्थापित अक्षय कोषको व्याजबाट प्रदान गरिने वेदव्यास पुरस्कार पहिलो पटक सो अवसरमा वितरण गरियो। भद्रपुर नगरपालिकाका प्रमुख गणेश पोखरेलको प्रमुख आतिथ्य, उपप्रमुख राधा कार्की र प्रमुख प्रशासकीय अधिकृत टेककुमार रेग्मीको विशिष्ट आतिथ्य तथा गुरूकुलका अध्यक्ष रेमनाथ चुडालकाे सभापतित्वमा भएको कार्यक्रममा प्रथम पटक वेदव्यास पुरस्कार प्राप्त गर्नेहरूमा गुरूकुलका दाताहरू भद्रपुर – ५ निवासी टंक घिमिरे, भद्रपुर -१ का तीर्थराज भट्टराई वशिष्ठ र भद्रपुर – ४ निवासी अनन्ता रिजाल हुनुहुन्थ्यो। उहाँहरूलाई नगदसहित दोसल्ला र सम्मान – पत्र प्रदान गरिएको छ।
गुरूपूर्णिमाको सन्दर्भमा सोही कार्यक्रममा भद्रपुरका तीन जना गुरूहरू क्रमशः भद्रपुर – २ का रामनारायण प्रधान(आर एन सर), भद्रपुर – ६ निवासी देवीमाया क्षेत्री तथा भद्रपुर – ९ निवासी परमानन्द मिश्रलाई सम्मान गरिएको छ। उहाँहरू तीनै जनाले भद्रपुर र जिल्लाका विभिन्न विद्यालयमा लामो समयसम्म शिक्षादान गर्नुभएको थियो। भद्रपुर नगरपालिकाका निर्वाचित जनप्रतिनिधिहरूलाई समेत सम्मान गरिएको सो कार्यक्रममा उपस्थित गुरूजनहरूलाई सामूहिक सम्मान गरिएको थियो।
वेदविद्याश्रमका प्राचार्य महेन्द्र भट्टराईले सहजीकरण-सञ्चालन गरेको कार्यक्रममा गुरूकुल वाल क्लवका अध्यक्ष शिव सुवेदीले स्वागत मन्तव्य र छात्र विजय गौतमले छन्दोबद्ध कविता वाचन गर्नुभएको थियो भने गुरूकुलका वटुकहरूले सामूहिक स्वस्तिवाचन र सांस्कृतिक वालन नृत्य पनि प्रस्तुत गरेका थिए।
