पत्रमा स्वास्थ्य चौकी, अस्पताल वा स्वास्थ्यसंग सम्बन्धित संस्थाले चलाइरहेको ‘क’ र ‘ख’ श्रेणीका एम्बुलेन्सहरूमा जीपीएस सिस्टम जडान गरिने उल्लेख छ। त्यसका लागि असार १४ गते मंगलबारसम्ममा आवश्यक कागजात सहित आवेदन दिन सम्वन्धित संस्थाहरूलाई पत्राचार गरिएको जिल्ला प्रशासन कार्यालयले जनाएको छ। सरकारले क र ख श्रेणीका एम्बुलेन्सहरूबाट मात्र सेवा प्रदान गर्ने निर्णय गरिसकेको छ।
जीपीएस जडित एम्बुलेन्सहरूलाई एउटा कन्ट्रोल रुम बनाउने र त्यसको व्यवस्थापन एउटै कक्षबाट नियन्त्रण गर्ने योजना अगाडि सारिएको नेपाल रेडक्रस सोसाइटी झापा शाखाका सभापति लोकराज ढकालले बताउनुभयो । एम्बुलेन्स खरीदका लागि राजस्व छुटको व्यवस्थामा पनि पुनरावलोकन गरिँदैछ।
यो नयाँ व्यवस्थाले एम्बुलेन्स सेवामा देखिएको अव्यवस्थामा सुधार आउने विश्वास गरिएको छ।
