सोही साधारण सभामा भद्रपुर नगर क्षेत्रका जुनियर तथा युवा रेडक्रस सर्कल गठन भएका विद्यालयहरू बीच आयोजना गरिएको चित्रकला प्रतियोगिताका उत्कृष्ट छात्र छात्रालाई पुरस्कार पनि प्रदान गरिएको थियो। लालप्रसाद-शुभद्रा स्मृति कोष स्थापना गरी उहाँहरूका नाममा छोराहरूबाट राखिएको रू.१ लाख अक्षय कोषको ब्याजबाट प्रत्येक बर्ष सो पुरस्कार प्रदान गरिदैं आएको छ।
यस बर्ष सो पुरस्कारबाट पुहाँतु जनज्योति माध्यमिक विद्यालयका छात्र इशान घिमिरे प्रथम, भद्रपुर माध्यमिक विद्यालयका छात्र रजक राजवंशी दोस्रो र शारदा आधारभूत विद्यालयकी छात्रा कृतिका घोष तेस्रो भएकी थिइन् । पुरस्कृत छात्र छात्रालाई प्रमुख अतिथि नगर प्रमुख पोखरेल,दाता छत्रप्रसाद अधिकारी र सभापति गिरीले पुरस्कार हस्तान्तरण गर्नुभएको थियो।
सो कार्यक्रममा प्रमुख अतिथि पोखरेल, बिशिष्ट अतिथि वडाअध्यक्ष द्वय गौरव सुब्बा-मनोज र अभिषेक ढुंगाना, छत्रप्रसाद अधिकारी, रेडक्रसका विशिष्ट सदस्य तथा नेपाल क्षयरोग निवारण संस्था झापाका सभापति गोपाल वहादुर थापा लगायतले शुभकामना मन्तव्य राख्नु भएको थियो।
