भद्रपुर २८,भदौ । झापाको भद्रपुरस्थित मेची रंगशालाको कवर्ड हलमा आजदेखि कोशी प्रदेशस्तरीय पुरुष खुला तथा भेट्रान्स ब्याडमिन्टन प्रतियोगिता शुरु भएको छ ।
झापा जिल्ला ब्याडमिन्टन संघको आयोजनामा शुरु भएको प्रतियोगिताको भद्रपुर नगरपालिकाका नगरप्रमुख गणेश पोखरेलले उद्घाटन गर्नुभयो । उहाँले खेल क्षेत्रको विकास जरुरी रहेको बताउनु हुँदै नगरले पनि खेलकुदलाई प्राथमिकता दिएको बताउनुभयो ।
कार्यक्रममा संघका अध्यक्ष दीपेश ढकालले ३० वर्षपछि भद्रपुरमा ब्याडमिन्टन प्रतियोगिता भएको बताउनुभयो । “३० वर्षअघि मेची अञ्चल स्तरीय प्रतियोगिता भएको थियो”, उहाँले भन्नुभयो, “त्यसपछि यो प्रतियोगिता हुँदैछ ।”
कार्यक्रममा, ब्याडमिन्टन संघका केन्द्रीय अध्यक्ष रामजीबहादुर श्रेष्ठ, प्रमुख जिल्ला अधिकारी बन्धुप्रसाद बाँस्तोला, झापा जिल्ला खेलकुद विकास समितिका अध्यक्ष प्रशान्त भण्डारी लगायतले शुभकामना मन्तव्य राख्नुभएको थियो ।
आजदेखि शुरु भएको प्रतियोगिता भदौ ३० गतेसम्म चल्ने छ । पुरुष डबल्स र भेट्रान्स डबल्स गरी दुई विधामा सञ्चालन हुने प्रतियोगितामा ४८ वटा टीमको सहभागिता रहेको संघका सचिव तीर्थराज ढकालले जानकारी दिनुभयो ।
प्रतियोगिताको खुलातर्फ प्रथमले रू.५० हजार, द्वितीयले रू. ३० हजार, तृतीयले रू. १० हजार र भेट्रान्सतर्फका प्रथमले रू. ४० हजार, द्वितीयले रू. ३० हजार र तृतीयले रू. १० हजार, ट्रफी र मेडल प्राप्त गर्ने आयोजकले जनाएको छ ।
