जग्गादाता चौधरीको शालिक विद्यालयमा स्थापना

भद्रपुर ,२ बैशाख / पञ्चायतकालका चर्चित जनप्रतिनिधि पुहाँतु चौधरीको अर्धकदको शालिक हालै भद्रपुर – ९ स्थित पुहाँतु जनज्योति माध्यमिक विद्यालयमा स्थापना गरिएको छ । 
पञ्चायती शासन व्यवस्थामा तत्कालीन चन्द्रगढी गाउँ पञ्चायतको प्रधानपञ्च हुँदै जनताको मन र मत दुबै जितेर तत्कालीन राष्ट्रिय पञ्चायतको सदस्य (विधायक) निर्वाचित चौधरीको अर्धकदको शालिक विद्यालय परिसरमा स्थापना गरिएको हो। 

२००८ सालमा पठनपाठन सुरु भएको उक्त विद्यालय स्थापना गर्न चौधरीले आफ्नो भोगचलनमा रहेको १५ बिगाहा जग्गा प्रदान गर्नु भएको थियो।
शिक्षा क्षेत्रमा महत्त्वपूर्ण योगदान पुर्याएवापत विद्यालय परिसरमा उहाँको शालिक स्थापना गरिएको हो ।
जग्गादाता चौधरीले चन्द्रगढीको पूर्वोत्तर ग्रामीण क्षेत्रका बालबालिकाले आफ्नै ठाउँमा शिक्षा लिन पाउन् भन्ने मनसायले विद्यालयलाई जग्गादान गरेपछि उहाँकै नाममा विद्यालयको नामाकरण भएको थियो । त्यही विद्यालय हाल पुहाँतु जनज्योति माध्यमिक विद्यालयको नामले चर्चित छ ।

वि.सं. १९७४ चैत २९ गते चन्द्रगढीमा जन्मनु भएको उहाँको २०५२ पुस १७ गते ७८ वर्षको उमेरमा निधन भएको थियो ।
यही २०८० चैत २९ गते नेपाली कांग्रेसका महामन्त्री तथा झापा–१ का प्रतिनिधिसभा सदस्य विश्वप्रकाश शर्माले चौधरीको शालिकको अनावरण गर्नुभयो । शिक्षासेवी चौधरीको शालिक उहाँका छोराहरुको निजी लगानीमा बनेको विद्यालय व्यवस्थापन समितिका अध्यक्ष परमानन्द मिश्रले बताउनुभयो ।
