बिर्तामोड । झापाको बिर्तामोडस्थित महानन्द चोकमा अहिले साँझ एक अपरिचित युवतीमाथि नचिनेका अर्का युवाले छुरा प्रहार गर्दा युवतीको मृत्यु भएको छ । 

घटनामा गम्भीर घाईते भएकी उनको उपचारका क्रममा मृत्यु भएको हो । एकजना अपरिचित युवाले उनलाई पक्रिएर  लगातार छुरा प्रहार गरेका थिए । 

घटनाको स्थानीयले प्रतिकार गर्दा उनी भागेका थिए । उनलाई अर्जुनधारा ६ मा स्थानीयले पक्रिन सफल भएका थिए । त्यसपछि  स्थानीयले प्रहरीलाई बोलाएर युवक जिम्मा लगाएका थिए । 

युवक र युवतीको नाम हालसम्म सार्वजनिक हुन सकेको छैन । प्रहरीले घटनाको कारण पनि थाहा हुन नसकेको जनाएको छ ।
