विद्यालय प्राङ्गणमा आज विविध कार्यक्रमका साथ स्कूलले रजत जयन्ती तथा अभिभावक दिवस मनाएको हो। स्कूलको शिक्षक अभिभावक संघ अध्यक्ष नानु ढुंगेलको अध्यक्षता तथा समाजसेवी दीलबहादुर थवेको प्रमुख आतिथ्यमा कार्यक्रम भएको हो ।
कार्यक्रममा सम्बोधन गर्नुहुँदै प्रमुख अतिथि थेवेले विद्यालयको श्रीबृद्धिमा सबैको भूमिका हुनुपर्नेमा जोड दिनुभयो । स्कूलले विद्यार्थीलाई उचित शिक्षा दिनुपर्ने बताउनु हुँदै उहाँले अभिभावकले समेत स्कूललाई साथ सहयोग दिनुपर्ने उल्लेख गर्नुभयो ।
कार्यक्रममा सञ्चालक राजेन्द्र घिमिरेले विद्यार्थीलाई शिक्षा मात्र नभई संस्कारयुक्त शिक्षामा जोड दिएको बताउनुभयो । ‘संस्कारसहितको शिक्षा हाम्रो प्रतिबद्धता’ भन्ने नारालाई स्कूलले आत्मसात गरेर अघि बढेको उहाँको भनाइ छ । कोरा शिक्षाले मात्र असल समाज र नागरिक उत्पादन नहुने बताउदै उहाँले संस्कारयुक्त नागरिकको उत्पादनमा सबै निजी तथा सामुदायिक विद्यालय लाग्नुपर्नेमा जोड दिनुभयो ।
कार्यक्रममा पढाइ तथा खेलकूदमा उत्कृष्टता हासिल गर्ने विद्यार्थीलाई पुरस्कृत समेत गरिएको थियो । सो अवसरमा विद्यार्थीले नृत्य, गीत, स्पीच, नाटक, विद्यालयको राष्ट्रिय सेवा दलका विद्यार्थीले डेमोस्ट्रेसन लगायतका प्रस्तुती दिएका थिए ।
विद्यालयकी कक्षा–८ की विद्यार्थी एञ्जल घिमिरेले स्वागत मन्तब्य ब्यक्त गरेको कार्यक्रमको सञ्चालन कक्षा–१० की विद्यार्थीद्वय गुञ्जन वन र नुमासुङ लिम्बूले गर्नुभएको थियो । कार्यक्रममा विभिन्न विद्यालय प्रधानाध्यापक तथा शिक्षासेवी, विभिन्न सामाजिक संघसंस्थाका प्रतिनिधि, अभिभावक लगायतको आतिथ्य रहेको थियो ।
