यसरी १ लाख १ हजार १ सय ११ रुपैयाँ नगद राशि सहित एकल महिला (बिधवा) हरूको मानव अधिकारको सुनिश्चितता, उनीहरूको अदृश्यताको अवस्थामा नीतिगत तथा व्यवहारगत सुधारका लागि खेलेको भूमिका साथै उनीहरूको सशक्तीकरणका लागि गरेको प्रयासका लागि संस्थागत रूपमा ‘मानव अधिकारका लागि महिला, एकल महिला समूह (डब्ल्यु.एच.आर.), काठमाडौँलाई ‘गौरादेवी ओली स्मृति राष्ट्रिय आदर्श आमा पुरस्कार’ बाट सम्मानित गरिएको थियो ।
त्यसैगरी, पत्रकारितामा विद्यमान पितृसत्तात्मक सोच तथा लैगिंकताको दृष्टिकोणबाट असहज कार्य वातावरणमा पनि १५ वर्षको कलिलो उमेरदेखि पुरुष पत्रकारहरूको वर्चस्व रहेको राजनीतिक बिटको पत्रकारितामा लागेर परम्परागत मान्यतालाई चिर्दै मूलधारको सञ्चारमाध्यममा महिलाको स्थान स्थापित गर्न गरेको सङ्घर्षका लागि १ लाख १ हजार १ सय ११ रुपैयाँ सहित ‘अम्बिकादेवी ओली स्मृति राष्ट्रिय पत्रकारिता पुरस्कार’ बाट पत्रकार बिनु सुवेदीलाई सम्मानित गरिएको छ ।
