भद्रपुर २, मङ्सिर / भद्रपुरबाट सुरु भएको मेची – महाकाली साइकल यात्रा २०८२ महाकालीमा पुगेर समापन गरिएको छ। भद्रपुर साइकल सोसाइटीको आयोजनामा कार्तिक २३ गते ( विश्व स्वतन्त्रता दिवस-२०२५ को अवसरमा) सुरु भएको साइक्लिङ अभियान “टुर दि मेची–महाकाली”-यात्रा हिजो नबौ दिन सोमबार सफलतापूर्वक सम्पन्न भएको हो।
समूहले आफ्नो अन्तिम गन्तव्य नेपालको पश्चिमी सिमा गड्डाचौकीको पिलर नं. ८०५/१–७ मा पुगेर यात्रा समापन भएको घोषणा गरेको हो।अभियानमा सहभागी राइडरहरूमा भद्रपुर साइकल सोसाइटीका अध्यक्ष तथा अभियान संयोजक जीवनकुमार श्रेष्ठ, कोषाध्यक्ष देबीबहादुर श्रेष्ठ, सल्लाहकार मनोज सिंह, सदस्य समीर पोखरेल र विश्वचन्द्र महतोलगायतले कठिन र लामो दूरी पार गर्दै यात्रा पूरा गरेको जनाएका छन्।

भद्रपुर नगरभित्रका पर्यटन स्थलहरुको प्रवर्धन र प्रचार – प्रसार ; साइकल संस्कृतिको विकास, स्वस्थ्य जीवनशैली र वातावरण संरक्षणप्रति जनचेतना अभिवृद्धि तथा साइकल सम्बन्धी कानुनी र नीतिगत ब्यबस्था निर्माणतर्फ सरकारको ध्यानआकृष्ट गराउने उद्देश्यसहित सोसाइटीले भद्रपुरस्थित मेची नदी पुलबाट यात्रा आरम्भ गरेको थियो। यात्राका क्रममा उदयपुर साइक्लिङ संघ, हिमालयन राइडर्स सोसाइटी, हेटौंडा, कावासोति राइडर्स क्लब, नवलपरासी राइडर्स क्लब, साइकल सिटी भैरहवा, तिलत्तोमा राइडर्स क्लब, साइकल साथी सैनामैना, बाणगंगा राइडर्स क्लब, साइकल सिटी हेटौंडा, कञ्चनपुरका साइक्लिस्टहरू सामेल हुँदै यात्रा सफलतापूर्वक सम्पन्न गरिएको सोसाइटीका अध्यक्ष जीवन कुमार श्रेष्ठले बताउनुभयो। उहाँका अनुसार , साइकल यात्रीहरू कपिलवस्तुको जितपुरमा बाणगंगा राइडर्स क्लबद्वारा कार्तिक २९ गते आयोजित ७५ किलोमिटरको साइकल यात्रामा पनि सहभागी भएको थियो। साइकल यात्रीहरूले दैनिक १५० किलोमिटरको दूरी तय गर्दै आफ्नो यात्रा पुरा गरेका थिए।
भद्रपुर साइकल सोसाइटीले आगामी दिनमा पनि स्वस्थ जीवनशैली, वातावरण संरक्षण र साइक्लिङ संस्कृति विस्तारका अभियान निरन्तर चलाइने प्रतिबद्धता व्यक्त गरेको छ । अबको यात्रा व्यक्तिगत हुने बताइएको छ । यात्रामा रहने ५ जनामध्ये तीन जना क्रमशः संयोजक श्रेष्ठ, समीर पोखरेल र देवीबहादुर श्रेष्ठ भने साइकल चलाएरै हुलाकी मार्ग हुँदै भद्रपुर फर्कदै गरेको जनाइएको छ।
