नेपाल–भारत मैत्री संघ कोशी प्रदेशको आयोजनामा पहिलोपटक आयोजित प्रतियोगिताको दोस्रो दिनको खेलमा भारतकै दून हेरिटेज सिलिगुडीलाई ८ विकेटले पराजित गर्दै सिक्किमले सहज जीत निकालेको हो ।
टस जितेर पहिलो ब्याटिङ रोजेको सिलिगुडीले निर्धारित २० ओभरमा अलआउट हुँदै ४७ रन बनायो । जवाफमा सिक्किमले १३.३ ओभरमा २ विकेट क्षतिमा लक्ष्य पार गरेको प्रतियोगिताका व्यवस्थापक राजन भट्टराईले जानकारी दिनुभयो ।
सिलिगुडीका तर्फबाट ह्याप्पी सरकारले १५ रन बनाउनु बाहेक कुनै पनि ब्याटरले दोहोरो अंकको रन बनाउन सकेनन् । सिलिगुडीलाई सस्तैमा समेट्न सिक्किमकी मारियन सुब्बाले ४ ओभरमा केवल ८ रन खर्चिएर २ विकेट लिइन् ।
ब्याटिङतर्फ सिक्किमकी नन्दिता कुमारीले ३१ बलमा २१ रन बनाइन् भने प्रमिला क्षेत्रीले ३३ बलमा १४ रन बनाइन् । विजयी टिमकी मारियन सुब्बाले खेलको म्यान अफ द म्याचको पुरस्कार जितिन् । हिजो मिलन क्रिकेट क्लब झापालाई जितेर दुई अङ्क बटुलेको सिलिगुरी आज पराजित भएको हो। आजको जितसँगै सिक्किमले दुई अङ्क बटुलेको छ।
राउन्ड रोबिन प्रक्रिया अनुसारको अन्तिम खेल भोलि शुक्रबार मिलन क्रिकेट क्लव झापा र भारतको अल्पाइन स्पोर्टिङ क्लब सिक्किमबीच हुनेछ भने फाइनल खेल शनिबार हुनेछ ।
