भद्रपुर, ९ मङ्सिर । झापा जिल्लाको सदरमुकाम भद्रपुरमा अन्तर्राष्ट्रियस्तरको क्रिकेट खेल मैदानका लागि तीब्र गतिमा काम भइरहेको छ ।
मेची बहुमुखी क्याम्पस भद्रपुरको जग्गा २५ बर्षको लागि लिजमा लिएर भद्रपुर क्रिकेट क्लवले खेल मैदान बनाउने कामलाई तीब्र अघि बढाएको हो । क्लव र क्याम्पसबीच १९ बुँदे सम्झौता भएको छ ।
विगतमै त्यहाँ बनाइएको मैदानमा उम्रिएको घाँसलाई फाँडेर खेल मैदान सम्याउने काम भइरहेको हो। भद्रपुर नगरपालिका वडा नम्बर –८ का वडाध्यक्ष गौरव सुब्बाले यो जिल्लाकै पहिलो र कोशी प्रदेशको दोस्रो क्रिकेट रंगशाला हुने बताउनुभयो ।
“जिल्लामा अन्तर्राष्ट्रियस्तरका ख्याति प्राप्त क्रिकेट खेलाडी धेरै छन् तर मैदान छैन”, उहाँले भन्नुभयो, “क्रिकेट खेलप्रति युवाहरुको क्रेज बढिरहेकोले, यसलाई मध्यनजर गरेर यहाँका उद्यमी, व्यवसायी र खेलप्रेमी महानुभावका साथ सहयोग लिएर मैदान धमाधम बनाइरहेका छौं ।”
खेल मैदानका लागि ८ नम्बर वडाले गत बर्ष रु. तीन लाख र चालु आर्थिक बर्षमा समेत रु. तीन लाख बजेट विनियोजन गरेको छ। वडाध्यक्ष सुब्बाले भन्नुभयो-वडाको बजेटसहित खेलप्रेमी महानुभावहरुले स्वतस्फुर्त दिएको करिब रु. १५ लाख रकमबाट खेल मैदान बनाउने काम भइरहेको छ । यसैगरी, खेल मैदानका लागि कोशी प्रदेश सरकारले समेत चालु बजेटमा रु. १५ लाख बजेट बिनियोजन गरेको छ ।
पछिल्लो समय खेल मैदानका लागि क्रिकेट एशोसिएन नेपाल (क्यान)ले समेत चासो राखेको छ,भद्रपुर क्रिकेट क्लबका सदस्य नितेश बर्माले भन्नुभयो- खेल मैदान बनाउन सुरु भएसँगै नेपाल भारत मैत्री संघको पहलमा भारतको गलगलिया र भद्रपुरमा रहेको क्रिकेट टीमबीच खेल खेलाउन भारतीय दुतावासले आग्रह गरेर रु. पाँच लाख रकम समेत विनियोजन गरिसकेको छ । उहाँले सो खेलका लागि समेत तयारी भइरहेको जानकारी दिनुभयो ।
