भद्रपुर २५ , चैत / नेपाल–भारत मैत्री तथा सहकार्यलाई थप सुदृढ बनाउने उद्देश्यले नेपाल भारत मैत्री सङ्घको आयोजनामा भारतको बिहार राज्यअन्तर्गत नेपाली सिमावर्ती बजार गलगलियामा एकदिने निःशुल्क आँखा शिविर सफलतापूर्वक सम्पन्न भएको छ।
शिविरमा कुल ५५० जना बिरामीहरूको आँखा जाँच गरिएको थियो। जाँचका क्रममा ८० जनामा मोतियाबिन्दु (क्याटार्याक्ट) देखिएको र उनीहरूलाई शल्यक्रिया आवश्यक रहेको चिकित्सकहरूले जानकारी दिएका छन्।
कार्यक्रमका प्रमुख अतिथि बिहारका विधायक गोपाल अग्रवाल रहनुभएको थियो भने विशेष अतिथिमा नेपाल भारत मैत्री संघका पूर्व अध्यक्ष ओमप्रकाश सरावगी रहनुभएको थियो। नेपाल भारत मैत्री संघ झापाका अध्यक्ष प्रदिपमणि रेग्मीको सभापतित्वमा कार्यक्रम सम्पन्न भएको हो।
उक्त शिविरमा गणेश पोखरेल (प्रमुख, भद्रपुर नगरपालिका), यमबहादुर श्रेष्ठ (अध्यक्ष, झापा उद्योग संघ), केन्द्रीय सदस्य हुलास सरिया तथा दिपेश ढकाल लगायतका व्यक्तित्वहरूको उल्लेखनीय उपस्थिति रहेको थियो।
शिविरमा प्राविधिक सहयोग मेची आँखा अस्पताल बिर्तामोडले प्रदान गरेको थियो भने भारत–नेपाल मैत्री संघको व्यवस्थापनमा कार्यक्रम सञ्चालन गरिएको थियो। शिविर सञ्चालनको जिम्मेवारी गलगलिया भातगाउँका पूर्व सरपञ्च गणेश मुखियाले सम्हाल्नुभएको थियो।
